Peru’s iron ore output falls on-month in January
Peruvian iron ore production decreased sequentially in January but was higher on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.2 million tonnes during the first month of 2023. This volume was 19.8% weaker over December but 51.7% more on-year.
