Peru’s iron ore output ends first quarter strongly
Peruvian iron ore production rose on-month in March. It also remained higher year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 1.28 million tonnes in March. This volume was up 6.6% over February and 14% higher compared to 1.13mt in the corresponding month of 2022.
