Peru’s iron ore output slips sequentially in April
Peruvian iron ore production fell on-month in April. Output, however, was higher compared to the same period of 2021, Kallanish notes.
The country's iron ore output surpassed1 million tonnes in April for the second consecutive time. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, output was 1.10mt in the month.
This volume was 2.1% less over March but 7.6% higher compared to 1.02mt in the corresponding month in 2021.
