Plate prices hold in US despite Nucor updates
Plate prices have held at $1,760-1,810/short ton for five consecutive weeks. On 2 September, Nucor issued a price reduction on plate prices for cut-to-length products in 84”, 72”, 60”, learns Kallanish. Spot pricing has not matched the new Nucor levels.
