Prices increases dodge US rebar market
US rebar prices remain mired despite an uptick in other commodity products, Kallanish reports.
Kallanish held its rebar assessment Tuesday at $590-610/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
Hot-rolled coil producers have pushed through at least part of a $40/st increase, and a $40/st increase is extant – though not yet sticking – in the A36 plate market.
