Prices on US standard pipe freeze on-week
The price of domestic, ex-works, A53B pipe is holding at $2,500-3200/short ton, reports Kallanish.
The market for A53B has remained stable and steady thus far in June, after rising rapidly earlier in the year.
On 17 February, Kallanish reported the price of A53B at $1,315-1,415/st. Over the course of four months, the price has nearly doubled as the market demand has grown strong and hot rolled prices remain elevated.
