Rana Gruber iron ore sales slip towards end-2021
Rana Gruber’s hematite iron ore sales in the fourth quarter of 2021 were flat on-quarter at 367,000 tonnes, with magnetite sales also flat at 29,000t, the Norwegian miner says in its preliminary results. Overall concentrate production grew 7% to 435,000t.
In full-year 2021 the firm however saw hematite sales decline 3% on-year to 1.44 million tonnes, compared to a 1% on-year growth after the first half of the year. Magnetite sales, though, grew 12% to 106,00…
