Raw steel production in US rises on-week
US raw steel production for the week of 1 October was 1.7 million short tons with a capability utilization rate of 77.1%, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute weekly report. The figure represents a 7.6% decrease from 1 October, 2021, when production was 1.83 million st and capability utilization was 83.3%.
