Rebar price impressions differ among Alpine countries
Prices for rebar in Switzerland have come down in reaction to other countries, but do not appear to be seeing a big dip.
For straight rebar, prices from the domestic producer corrected downwards recently and are now at below €600/tonne ($704) base, Kallanish hears from local sources. Rebar in coil retains a respectable spread at more than €50/t more, but lately also came down by some €30.
