Russia’s ELSI increases revenue, eyes new coal deposits
Elga Coal and Sibanthracite Group (ELSI), part of Russia’s A-Property, increased revenue in 2022. It reached RUB 433 billion ($5.6 billion), up by 1.6 times compared to 2021, Kallanish notes.
Revenue from the largest asset, Elgaugol, grew by 58% on-year to RUB 163 billion. Last year, almost 99% of production from the Elga deposit was exported, the enterprise claims.
