Russia’s first-quarter steel demand decreases, outlook mixed: Severstal
Russian steel demand decreased in the first quarter by 3% on-year, driven by lower consumption in the engineering and energy industries, Severstal says in a client insights note.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, consumption had increased by 6% on-quarter, Kallanish notes.
