Russia’s stainless imports decline on logistics restrictions
Russia’s imports of stainless steel scrap decreased in March compared with February, as expected, due to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, which has altered the market, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia’s stainless intake last month amounted to 27,900 tonnes, down by 39% on-month and 20% on-year, Kallanish notes.
