Russian capacity utilisation, exports continue to fall: minister

Russian steel industry capacity utilisation has declined from an average of 93% to 80% in the second quarter, says Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. “The biggest decline is being seen at MMK, which is operating at 60% of installed capacity, followed by Severstal at 72% and NLMK at 90%, which is not under Western sanctions,” Manturov noted during a meeting on Monday concerning the development of the Russian metallurgical complex. &q…
