Sail supplies defence grade steel to Indian Navy
Steel Authority of India (Sail) has supplied 4,300 tonnes of special steel for the construction of two of India’s indigenous navy warships, namely INS Udaygiri and INS Surat. The company supplied DMR 249A grade plate and hot rolled sheet to the navy, Kallanish notes.
