Hadeed’s rebar project discount removal lifts market sentiment
Saudi Arabia's largest steel producer, Hadeed, informed its clients on Thursday it would remove the project discount of SAR 100/tonne ($26.6) given on finished long product sales, effective 1 March. The timing of the move has surprised local steel sector participants who spoke to Kallanish.
