Scrap prices fall further in Japan, Vietnam

Scrap import prices continue to weaken in Vietnam, Kallanish notes. Importing Vietnamese mills are facing weak demand for their finished long steel products. Offers for Japanese H2 grade scrap are being indicated at $430/tonne cfr Vietnam, mill sources said on Tuesday. Last week, price indications were at $440/t cfr.
