Semiconductor shortages to continue amid cross-industry competition: McKinsey
Demand for automotive chips is skyrocketing as vehicle technology becomes more sophisticated. Some Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have been forced to shut down or slow production because they could not obtain sufficient quantities of semiconductors, says global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.
