Severstal records sales in new partnership scheme
Russian steelmaker and miner Severstal increased sales of rolled products in 2022 under a new partnership scheme, the company tells Kallanish.
The volume amounted to more than 48,000 tonnes, which is almost 2.5 times higher than in 2021.
The new scheme sees Severstal become a supplier of finished steel for specific orders from customers in new markets, giving the steelmaker the opportunity to start the production of new types of products.
