Severstal starts power facility construction, reduces gas consumption
Russian steelmaker Severstal has begun construction of a new boiler house with boiler unit No.11 at its Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CherMK), the company says.
Total investments in the project are at RUB 2.5 billion ($31.5 million), Kallanish notes. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2024.
