US sheet demand, supply picture muddles pricing
US hot and cold rolled prices appear to have steadily decreased since the spring. In the week of 17 March, HRC ranged from $1,250-1,300/short ton and CRC ranged from $3,000-3,200/st compared to this week’s range of $790-820/st and $1,190-1,200/st.
