Shougang unveils July production data
China-listed Beijing Shougang unveiled preliminary production data for July last week. It saw month-on-month declines in major products output, but the volumes were still higher than a year earlier.
In July, Shougang produced 270,000 tonnes of flat-rolled automobile steel, down 7% m-o-m but up 8.3% year-on-year. Seven-month volumes were 2.07 million tonnes, falling just 1.9% y-o-y, Kallanish observes.
