Silkroad Nickel first-half net profit jumps eight-fold
Singapore-listed nickel mining company Silkroad Nickel saw its net profit soar more than eight-fold to $4.17 million in the first half, from $493,000 a year ago, underpinned by higher nickel sales, Kallanish notes.
The group’s revenue almost trebled to $22.67m from $7.76m a year earlier.
The group completed the sale of 448,065 tonnes of nickel ore in the first half as compared to the sale of 159,341t of nickel ore in the prior year.
