Spanish scrap prices tick up
The Spanish scrap market ended May with an upward price movement after a series of previous corrections, Kallanish learns from local sources.
Domestic prices have risen between €10-25/tonne ($10.6-26.6) for the different qualities as a result of material scarcity following the Spanish industrial production decline observed in recent months. The rebound also follows the price uptick seen in the Turkish market.
