SSAB to idle blast furnace at Raahe

SSAB says it plans to bring forward maintenance of one of its blast furnaces at the Raahe integrated plant. The decision has been taken to reduce output in the fourth quarter amid a slowdown of demand in Europe, Kallanish notes.
