Steel futures fall to seven-month lows
Chinese rebar and hot rolled coil futures turned to fall on Tuesday after a two-day rebound, retreating back to the lowest level in the past seven months, Kallanish notes.
On the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most-traded October 2023 rebar contract closed CNY 51/tonne lower than Monday at CNY 3,460/t ($489/t), while the same contract for HRC lost CNY 45/t to CNY 3,572/t.
