Subdued demand continues to weigh on US scrap
Following a long-lasting downward trend in US scrap prices, it seems the expected recovery is unlikely to materialise in October either. In fact, the US domestic scrap market seems to be getting further away from recovery due to mills’ outages, weak demand and pressured export prices.
