Tenaris sees increased Mid-East/Africa drilling as sales increase
Tenaris says it is enjoying a recovery in sales volumes in the Middle East and Africa, Kallanish notes.
The company’s tubular product net sales in the second quarter to Middle East and Africa-based clients hiked 43% on-quarter and 14% on-year to $260 million. This is thanks to growth in OCTG sales in United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and sub-Saharan Africa, the firm says in its latest earnings report without providing tonnages.
