Thailand's steel consumption slackens in January-May

Thailand's finished steel consumption and production remains depressed, Kallanish notes.  Overall steel consumption during January-May contracted by 16.8% year-on-year to 7 million tonnes, according to the Iron & Steel Institute of Thailand (ISIT).
