US Trade Administration investigates Chinese pipe fittings
The US Department of Commerce received a covered merchandise referral from US Customs and Border Patrol regarding an investigation into certain carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings with an inside diameter of less than 14 inches from China, learns Kallanish. The fittings are used to join sections of piping sections in piping systems requiring permanent welded connections and are distinct from fasteners.
