Transportation Department awards $1.2 billion to Appalachian highways
The US Department of Transportation has announced $1.2 billion in funding will be issued to the Appalachian Development Highway System (ADHS) over five years for the construction of additional roadway corridors in 11 states in the Appalachian region of the US.
