Turkey’s Habas to expand rebar rolling capacity
Habas has applied to Turkey’s environment, urbanisation and climate change ministry to establish a rebar rolling mill near its current facilities in Aliaga, Kallanish learns from local news reports.
According to the “environmental impact assessment” process initiated by the ministry, the plant will cost TRY 847 million ($63m) to set up. Habas plans to employ 100 workers during the construction phase of the project and 400 workers for operations.
