Turkish domestic scrap falls, import prices debated

Turkish steelmakers have decreased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week despite the recent increase seen in imported scrap prices on Tuesday, Kallanish notes. Imported scrap activity, which was on halt amid weak steel sales, resumed on Monday on a fresh deal from the US.
