Turkish domestic scrap follows sharp import rises
Most Turkish mills have increased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week amid firm imported scrap values and strong domestic rebar demand, Kallanish notes.
Two EU-origin deals have been heard this week. A Benelux supplier sold two cargoes to a Marmara mill and western mill at $409/tonne and $408/t cfr Turkey respectively.
