Turkish domestic scrap rises following import rebound
Turkish steelmakers have increased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week amid limited import offers in the market, Kallanish notes.
Imported scrap prices are following an upward trend due to imbalanced supply and demand. Although mills are inquiring about scrap, the number of offers in the market is limited as suppliers are targeting to sell at higher prices.
