Turkish domestic scrap shows diverging trends
Turkish mills' domestic scrap buying prices are showing diverging trends depending on their procurement requirements from the domestic market, Kallanish notes.
While some mills decreased their buying prices from last week despite the further depreciation of the lira, those that need to source material have increased them. Activity in the imported scrap market is meanwhile quite weak.
