Turkish scrap prices rise in domestic, import markets
Turkish steelmakers have increased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week and ramped up purchases from the domestic market, Kallanish notes.
Three deep-sea bookings have been heard so far this week. Although an EU-origin deal at $367/tonne cfr Turkey was circulated in the market on Wednesday, this was in fact concluded last week, as Kallanish previously reported.
