Turkish domestic scrap ticks up amid firm imports

Most Turkish mills are seen raising their domestic scrap buying prices this week amid increasing imported scrap values, Kallanish notes. Demand for both domestic and imported scrap remains strong. Imported scrap prices, meanwhile, continue to rise on the latest bookings. Four fresh deals were heard in the market on Wednesday.
