Turkish HR flats imports fall in August
Imports of hot rolled flat products into Turkey slipped in August on-month and on-year, keeping January-August volumes down too, Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data show.
August arrivals of imported HR flats under HS code heading 7208 totalled 377,124 tonnes, down 23.8% on-month and 12.9% on-year, keeping eight-month volumes down 7% on-year at 3.44 million tonnes.
