Turkish HR flats exports decline in October
Turkish exports of hot-rolled flat products under HS code 7208 declined slightly in October, and year-to-date shipments remained below 2020 levels, data by Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) show.
After impressive gains in September, total October export volumes of HR flats from Turkey declined by 9.3% on-month but rose 22.2% on-year to 291,497 tonnes. Year-to-date shipments were 13.3% below 2020 levels at 2.57 million tonnes.
