Turkish HRC continues to rally
The Turkish domestic hot rolled coil market continues to rev up, resulting in two major producers selling out of April-rolling allocations and increased volumes of import offers at higher prices.
Fuelled by production restrictions and rising costs, sales prices reached $900/tonne ex-works for April deliveries, with offers for May production reaching $960/t ex-works on Wednesday, Kallanish learns from market participants.
