Turkish imported scrap continues to fall, domestic recovers

Turkish steel producers have increased their domestic scrap buying prices since last week despite the downward trend in import prices, Kallanish notes. The increases are mostly due to the depreciation of the lira as Turkish mills buy domestic scrap on a lira basis.
