Following a slight recovery in rebar sales this week, Turkish rebar producers are seen testing higher prices in both domestic and export markets.
Turkish mills’ export quotes, which stood mostly at $750-755/tonne fob levels last week, have increased mostly to above $760/t fob Turkey actual weight. Mesh-quality wire rod offers, meanwhile, are seen pegging at around $850/t fob, although lower offers are also available from some producers.
