Turkish pipe prices fall below $800 threshold
Turkish pipe export quotes are seen to have decreased below the $800/tonne fob Turkey threshold amid tough competition between Turkish pipe suppliers.
Turkish pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235 grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday at above $800/t fob Turkey theoretical weight. However, deals at $770-790/t fob Turkey theoretical weight have been realised by some mills.
