Turkish pipe producers cut export quotes further
Turkish pipe producers have further cut their export quotes this week due to weak demand and tough competition.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $680-710/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight, down from $700-725/t last week. However, a southern Turkish producer is seen offering at much lower levels in order to get a share from the limited demand.
