Turkish pipe quotes succumb to intensifying price pressure
Turkish pipe producers, which increased their export quotes by almost $100/tonne last week, are seen struggling to hold their prices due to the weak level of demand.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $750-780/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight. However, these prices are also available on an actual weight basis from some producers.
