Turkish pipe quotes rise due to costlier HRC

Turkish pipe producers have increased their offer prices due to the recent rises seen in hot rolled coil values. Demand, however, is yet to reach satisfactory levels in the global market. Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade HRC were seen on Thursday mostly at $820-850/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight.
