Turkish rebar exports hit 2022-low in October
Turkish rebar exports accelerated their downward trend in October, hitting a 2022-low. They plunged by 42.2% on-year to only 361,811 tonnes. They were also down from 502,191t in September, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
Their average price was $683/tonne, down from $692/t in October 2021 but up from $671.5/t in September 2022.
