Turkish rebar prices soften amid insufficient sales
Turkish rebar producers have been forced to decrease their rebar quotes due to the very low level of sales in both export and domestic markets.
Although there are still some producers offering rebar at above $700/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, these prices do not seem workable in either the domestic or export market. Most mills are offering rebar at $670-690/t fob, down from $690-700/t fob last week.
