Turkish scrap market slides further on fresh bookings
Scrap prices in Turkey are continuing to decrease on fresh deals.
Two US-origin bookings from last weekend were heard in the market on Tuesday. A US supplier is heard to have sold 30,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $360/tonne and 15,000t of shredded at $375/t cfr Turkey. The same buyer is heard to have bought a second US-origin cargo comprising HMS 1&2 90:10 at $365/t cfr.
