Turkish scrap market remains slow but stable
Turkish steelmakers have mostly kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged from last week, while import demand continues to remain weak, Kallanish notes.
There was another rumour on Wednesday of an EU-origin prompt-shipment booking at $373/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1&2 80:20. However, no market player finds this price possible under current market conditions in Turkey.
